WHO WE ARE
Lifebread, founded in 2004 by Ray and Nadira Moti, seeks to live and present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people groups. Nadira was wonderfully saved from the teaching of Islam and some years later Ray, a Hindu, was radically won to Christ. Both live their lives to serve God.
Ray and Nadira lived for many years in Australia but in 2013 were led by the Lord Jesus Christ to return to Fiji to minister to the nation and to establish Almanah Hope Centre for widows, at Teidamu, Lautoka, Fiji.
Lifebread is an Australian incorporated body with a governing board, supporting Christian ministry; Lifebread Stay Connected is a Fiji incorporated body, with tax-deductible giving status, and is responsible for Almanah Hope Centre.
WHAT WE DO
Whilst the world might see Fiji, the hub of the South Pacific, as a tropical paradise, the fact is a significant percentage of the population lives below the poverty line, struggling to make ends meet, and perhaps none more so than widows with no family support.
ALMANAH HOPE CENTRE
Lifebread Stay Connected Fiji, purposes to advance the cause of the underprivileged by developing a residential training centre for widows away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Training in life-skills, employment-skills, enables widows to return to life with a new purpose.
Work was well underway, when super-cyclone Winston, which devastated much of Fiji in February 2016, destroyed all the Almanah Hope Centre buildings. The builder was uninsured and all was lost. Work to bring the project to life again has commenced but we are looking for people to be apart of the restoration

In 2011 Ray and Nadira were lead by the Lord Jesus to initiate Arise Fiji 2012, working with the Churches of Lautoka, Ba and Nadi, in Fiji. Over a five day period it’s estimated 50,000 attendees heard powerful proclamations of the Gospel and thousands committed or re-committed their lives to Jesus Christ.
